Kusttrålundersökning 2024: övervakning av bottenlevande fisk längs svenska västkusten

Abstract

This is the expedition report of the 2024 years coastal trawl survey monitoring the benthic fish community along the Swedish west coast. The survey has been done annually since 2001 with the purpose of monitoring species composition and recruitment (since 2013) in the benthic fish community in general with particular emphasis on monitoring presence of large cod (Gadus morhua). In addition, the survey provides data for the coastal fish indicators within the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. The survey area extends from the offshore bank of Fladen in northern Kattegat to Singlefjord at the Norwegian border in Skagerrak.The survey was carried out over ten days between the 2 nd and 13 th of September 2024.
