Intermittent dosage of ethanol in a pre-denitrifying activated sludge process

    Publication: Contribution to journalJournal articlepeer-review

    Abstract

A pilot-scale activated sludge reactor is used to examine the effect of intermittent ethanol dosing to provide supplemental carbon to improve process performance. The early results noted here indicate the value of this strategy to improve denitrification. Copyright (C) 1996 IAWQ.
