Abstract

Increasing administrative burden, lack of collaboration between organisations as within the forestry sector as with other sectors, practically and scientifically unfounded environmental restrictions on forestry, violations of the private property rights. These and other most pending issues have been identified by the researchers of the international project INTEGRAL. These findings were a result of the interviews and workshops involving representatives of private forest owners, state forest enterprises, contractors, State Forest Services, protected areas, National Paying Agency, forest industries and other forest stakeholders.
