abstract = "A new system for rough (long) grass maintenance was tested on different types of rough grass fields to find the system{\textquoteright}s capacity, function an economy. Work studies were used to find these factors. The system was built up with a front-mounted mower, a four-wheel drive tractor and a self-loading wagon. The system enabled cutting, removal of the clippings and transport in one operation. The practical capacity was 3 200 sqm per hour and the cutting result was very satisfying. The system left a smooth surface with no remaining clippings.",
