Abstract

A find ofthe rare species Artomyces cristatus (Kauffman) JUlich from Borgsjö (the province of Medelpad in Sweden) is described and illustrated. A brief review of the ecology, distribution and taxonomy of the species is given. The morphological differences between the two genera Clavicorona Doty and Artomyces Jiilich are discussed.
